Luna y Molino (Tango Gardens) now have a regular venue for their milongas, Bramcote Memorial Hall, Church Street, Bramcote Village, Nottinghamshire, NG9 3HD (just off the A52 between Derby and Nottingham). It’s a lovely venue with plenty of room for dancing, free parking and great music (mainly traditional music with some tandas of Nuveo). Cidinha and Njaal usually hold these milongas every second Saturday of each month, but you can find more information about their events on their website.
Cidinha and Njaal offer the opportunity for private lessons prior to the milonga on a Saturday afternoon – contact them direct for their fees. It’s a brilliant opportunity for ladies to experience a teacher who appreciates the difficulties experienced by us ladies and can teach the skills required to become excellent followers; which I am aware men really do appreciate – even if they don’t say it often enough.
Their first milonga for 2015 is on 10 January – so don’t miss it; put it in your diary with a reminder!!
You can even link their the calendar on their website – especially if you use Google – it’s so easy!
